Erik Nebergall, Principal Consultant & Owner

After obtaining a BS in Industrial Design, Erik worked for Cincinnati Milacron (machine tool manufacturer) quickly becoming responsible for the introduction and implementation of new engineering and manufacturing technology.

In the early ’90s, Erik was recruited by Deloitte (a significant international management consulting firm) where he provided guidance as a senior manager in engineering and manufacturing process improvement.   Erik’s client’s at Deloitte included GEAE (now GE Aerospace) and Caterpillar (tractor) companies. While at Deloitte, Erik earned his APICS CPIM (Production & Inventory Management) certification.

Following Deloitte, Erik was hired by a large-format (engineering) document imaging company (Access Corp.) to guide them in the development and later sales of a document management solution that became a significant player in the industry.

As an outgrowth of working closely with customers and in Access’ Marketing & Sales functions, and enjoying it, Erik left to start a sales support firm, Meta Marketing.  The company specialized in the “hard-to-sell” for companies in the manufacturing, engineering and commercial software markets.  Meta quickly grew to 35+ employees and served clients throughout North & South America and Europe. The company still serves clients with demanding needs.

In 2019, wishing to return to his roots in manufacturing and with a growing interest in the quality area, Erik formed QC-Advisors (QCA) with a Meta employee who had previously worked as a quality consultant.  QCA originally focused on quality and process improvement, but quickly grew to include ISO and later VDA and other specialties.  Erik is a certified auditor for numerous ISO standards and also provides consulting on establishing and maintaining ISO quality management systems.

While working for several QCA clients, the need for a quality-based assembly and disassembly (parts recovery) function became apparent. This was the catalyst for forming Pro Assemblers, a company which provides these services to a range of customers today.

In line with Erik’s interests in quality, flying and the technical aspects of maintaining an aircraft, in 2022 Erik established Ohio Avionics, a certified FAA repair station that inspects and certifies the functionality of aircraft instruments.  Erik has been a private instrument-rated pilot for more than 20 years, who built and flies his own aircraft.  To establish a FAA repair station required multiple-years of work with the FAA to create procedures, a quality manual & training program similar to those of an ISO QMS (Quality Management System). QCA now provides guidance in this area.
